Directions to our Studio

At The Business Portrait Company, we have the very best studio equipment to make the highest-quality images possible of our clients. Our studio is, however, nearer than you might think!

Since we began really focussing on our mobile service in January, we’ve been setting up the full studio kit in meeting rooms all over the area. It’s a quick operation, taking around 30 minutes at most.

The benefits are huge:

  • Your people can be away from their desk, have their photograph taken in an efficient but relaxed manner, and be back to work in around 10 minutes each.
  • The familiar surroundings of your own premises make for more relaxed sitters.
  • We spend our time travelling instead of expecting you to spend yours.
  • No walking from car to studio means hair isn’t messed up by the wind, clothes aren’t messed up by the rain and no red nose (if it’s cold) or face (if it’s hot).

Who do you know that needs professional headshot photographs, but is too busy to make a trek to a studio. Please introduce us, or get them to give us a call… 01509 808 689.

Nervous Sitters

Help for nervous sitters at our photographers Loughborough studio

A large number of people, I’ve found, really dislike having their photo taken. They may be worried that they don’t look their best, they may be worried about wooden, unnatural poses; or the may be worried about the actual process of taking the photos.

At our photographers Loughborough studio, sitters are taken care of very well. They are given guidance in advance on what to wear, and we always have time to help a nervous sitter to relax. If you’re not in a hurry for your photos, then neither are we! Have a coffee, have a chat about how you want the photos to come out – we’ll listen to your requirements and use our skills to capture the essence of your character that you want to portray.

Again, if you have time, shot selections can be made during your sitting. You can look through all the photographs taken, give your input, draw on the experience of your photographer regarding the final usage of your image and pick one that you really like.

If there isn’t one that you like? Let’s shoot again, taking the good parts from the photographs already taken.

The long and the short of it is; you are visiting our studio to receive great service and great photographs. It is our photographers job to make sure you are delighted with both!

Creative Portrait Photography

Creative Portrait Photography

I often suggest that if someone has a job, and a tie, and a face then they’d be a great subject for me to photograph. The day-to-day corporate meet-the-team headshots really form the foundation of The Business Portrait Company.

But there are, naturally, many more people out there who don’t wear a tie to work. Creatives, trades, all manner of people doing their bit for the world. Here at Portrait Towers, we’re not just interested in this sort of work – this sort of creative business portrait photography is really something we get excited about. How to tell the story of a small business, or an individual through the medium of photography.

Richard Bailey, a talented young film maker, pictured above, came to our portrait studio in Loughborough for a half-day shoot. With snacks, coffee and plenty of time to bounce ideas, we came up with several different lighting setups and poses, with and without the tools of his trade.

The result was a huge selection of images from which we sifted through together and picked the top six for processing and delivery.

It’s really valuable when a client is brings a few ideas to the table, and is willing to try a few new things; the results really show the difference. So, for your creative business portrait photography needs, come to The Business Portrait Company!

Lately, our portrait photography has revolved around Linked In. It was drawn to my attention that sometimes, given an identical proposal from two parties, there’s a chance the client will go for the one with the more professional Linked In photograph.

High-quality, portrait photography on Linked In sends a message to your prospective clients… the message that you care, that you can be bothered with details.

As a bonus service, all clients coming to us for any kind of portrait photography also receive a small, square-cropped version suitable for just this kind of use.
